Policies

Returns:

All sales are final and we do not accept cancelations on engines, long blocks or top ends once they've been started on. Typically we will start the machining & porting process within 24 hours of ordering and every engine is custom built to order. Any part orders can be returned within 15 days for store credit or a refund minus shipping / 15% restocking fee. Parts orders refers to on the shelf items such as gaskets, bearings, seals etc. Email through the contact form requesting a RA# before shipping to us. Boxes that arrive without an RA# may be returned to sender. 

Lead Time:

All engines, top ends and long blocks have a lead time and are made to order. Lead times vary depending on the season and the engine ordered. With all of the custom options and work that we do it's impossible for us to stock every engine in every configuration. Lead times currently are 4-5 weeks on engines. Top ends are one of the few exceptions and normally ship within 24 hours and up to 2 weeks for twins, signature series.
This is the busiest we have been in the over 20 years in business and we're doing our best to get orders out ASAP without cutting corners. If this is an issue please contact us prior to ordering for our current lead time. We offer expediting if the delivery date is time sensitive and please contact us before ordering. Normally we can accommodate but there are times that it isn't possible. As stated in our policies all sales are final on anything modified (top ends, long blocks and engines)

Warranty Policy: All of our products come with a 30 day warranty starting the day you receive your engine. Our engine warranty covers manufactures defects and workmanship issues. We do not cover user error, cylinder/piston scoring etc  

UK Ordering:

We do not ship to the United Kingdom. UK orders please visit our distributors website http://www.oneillbrothers.co.uk or contact us for our UK distributors email and/or phone number.

 Payment:

PayPal payments must ship to your verified address. We can not change the shipping address after your order is placed. 

Credit card orders must match the billing address and orders over $100 must be shipped to the billing address. If your credit card does not match the billing address your order will be canceled and refunded. If your order is over $100 and you provide a shipping address different from your billing we will automatically ship to your billing address. In special cases we make exceptions but you need to contact us prior to ordering. 

Discount pricing does not apply to orders placed previous to a sale. We are unable to process a refund or offer store credit if an item goes on sale after placing an order.

Payment Plans:

On large purchases we offer payment plans upon request. Typically we like to see a 50% deposit and payment in full within 3 months. We require payment in full within 6 months of deposit. After 6 months your order will be cancelled and deposits are nonrefundable.   

  Shipping:

Orders over $150 will ship with a signature confirmation. In special cases we make exceptions but you need to contact us prior to ordering. We ship worldwide and offer several options and carriers. Smaller and light weight items can ship first class mail for generally $10 or less. International shipments over $200 must ship with a carrier that requires a signature confirmation such as UPS, DHL or Fedex. If USPS international is chosen on orders over $200 we will switch to UPS or DHL. For our protection and yours a signature confirmation is required and USPS does not offer signature upon delivery internationally. Most international orders will be subject to import tax, duties, vat etc and this is calculated by the shipping carrier and not us. Our website is usually very accurate at calculating postage but in some cases it will under/over quote. If you’re under quoted for shipping we will contact you before shipping. If you are over quoted we will automatically refund the difference at the time of shipping.

 

We offer express shipping for both domestic and international orders. We are not the shipping company and can not guarantee delivery date on express services or any other shipping methods.. We do not offer refunds for express orders that are not delivered on time. If ordering an engine or anything that requires porting and/or machining keep in mind that there may be a lead time. If this is an issue please contact us prior to ordering.
